Outstanding persistence and top-notch customer service from Alfonso Masson! ​I spent weeks searching locally and within a 500-mile radius for the right used pickup truck before finding Sam Leman Ford in Bloomington, IL. I called and spoke with sales representative Alfonso Masson about a couple of trucks I saw online. He confirmed they were available, so I made the 250-mile drive to test drive them. The first one didn't fit my needs. ​During negotiations on the second truck, we were within $500 of each other, but neither side budged. Even though I walked away empty-handed that day, I was impressed by how professionally Alfonso and the team worked with me. When I called back a few days later to take their last offer, another representative had unfortunately (for me) sold it. ​I went back to searching and found two more possibilities—one at Sam Leman Ford and another at a sister location (Sam Leman Chevy). Alfonso went above and beyond by trying to have the truck from the Chevy dealership brought over to Bloomington so I could inspect both vehicles in one stop. I failed to respond to his message so it didn't get transferred. I was able to look at and test the truck at Leman Ford. ​After a test drive, it didn't quite hit the mark. That’s when Alfonso mentioned a truck they had just taken in on trade that wasn't even on the lot yet. We walked back to the detailing shop to check it out. Although it was a bit older and had higher mileage than what I originally set out to buy, it was in incredible shape and loaded with extras that fit my needs perfectly. After a test drive, we made the deal. ​I’m currently in the process of building it out into an overlander camping truck, and it has been running great! ​Finding a good truck takes patience, but working with an honest, accommodating salesman makes all the difference. Huge thanks to Alfonso Masson and the team at Sam Leman Ford for their dedication, patience, and stellar customer service. Highly recommend!
