2019 Ford Ranger PayloadIf you’re shopping for a midsize truck that can easily transition between difficult job tasks in Normal and off-road adventures near Decatur, the 2019 Ford Ranger is a smart choice. With two spacious bed options and a well-appointed interior that features plenty of intuitive technology, the new Ford Ranger has everything you need and more.

Ford Ranger Bed Dimensions

The dimensions of this Ford midsize truck bed are dependent on the cab size you opt for. With a SuperCab, you’ll have an extra foot of bed space, while the SuperCrew® loses a foot because of its larger interior cab dimensions. Explore the details of each bed size, below:

  • 6-Foot Bed: Available with the SuperCab configuration, the dimensions of the 6-foot bed are 72.8 inches x 44.8 inches x 20.8 inches, with a total volume of 51.8 cubic feet.
  • 5-Foot Bed: If you need more interior space and decide to opt for the SuperCrew® cab, the 5-foot bed will be your only option. The 5-foot bed dimensions are 61.0 inches x 44.8 inches x 20.8 inches, with a total volume of 43.4 cubic feet.

So, if you need the most bed space possible, you’ll want to opt for a SuperCab Ranger, but if you care more about passenger and interior cargo space, the SuperCrew® Ranger will be the smarter choice. Of course, if you need more cargo hauling, you can always hook up a trailer.

  • Front/Rear Headroom: 39.8 inches / 35.9 inches
  • Front/Rear Legroom: 43.1 inches max / 30.4 inches
