Ford’s F-150 Diving Into Law Enforcement

August 3rd, 2017 by

The Ford F-150 is one of the best loved trucks on the market for a reason. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about the 2017 Ford Explorer or the upcoming 2018 edition, the F-150 is a top tier truck. If there’s one group of people that deserves top tier, it’s the law enforcement officers who work to keep us safe. That’s why many are excited by Ford’s recent reveal of the F-150 Police Responder.

A police-exclusive variant of the 2018 F-150, the Police Responder will come with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. The EcoBoost V6 will produce 375 horsepower, 470 pounds-feet of torque, a 7,000-pound towing capacity and a top speed of 100 MPH. Add in 132 cubic feet of cargo room and a unique suite of must-have police features, and you get a police truck that delivers everything officers on the job might need in a vehicle.

If the F-150 is tough enough for the police, we’re willing to bet it’s tough enough for you.
